The DP is reporting that a gunshot was fired on the unit block of South 40th Street the night of August 15th.

A few choice nuggets from the article-

- "A detective at the scene said that a spent shell casing and some blood were found."

- "No victim has come forward, nor has the victim been found after a search of area hospitals."

- "The incident is not currently under investigation by either Philadelphia or Penn police."

Okay, first of all? Creepy.  Secondly- Does anyone think that the police aren't trying to solve the crime in order to keep Philly's crazy-like-a-fox crime rate at speeding skyrocket pace?  Let's be honest... if not for crimes like these, then the City of Bro Love would get no love from the media.
