Penn Administration: The Sexual Harassment Never Stops!

While both Penn:OTR and those IvyGate folk have been lampooning the totally cray-cray Van Pelt library Lothario Eber Devine, even MOAR sexual harassment has been going down at Penn! Except unlike the comedic value of Eber Devine and his "modeling agency", former Penn admin Steve Devlin's just batshit insane, claiming online to have boinked 7 and 9 year old girls in the mountains:

"We get there ad girls run upstairs to change, your follow, they come back in tshirts and nothing else … the adults are naked already, your girls sit next to me," he wrote, using the incorrect spellings, according to the affidavit. Devlin allegedly went on to explicitly describe the sexual acts he would perform with the girls.

"We need to set a date to party," he said at the end of the conversation."

First we have Eber Devine. Now this. Just last year, Wharton Dean Scott Ward was busted for downloading kiddie porn. In 2003 Penn Neurosurgery professor Tracy McIntosh allegedly sexually assaulted a student. Why is Penn so perverse? Is this common to the Ivy League, or is the ol' Red and Blue a special kind of crazy? Theories, readers?

Somehow, this has something to do with Rick Santorum. Heh heh heh. Santorum.

and for the record, the Devlin thing has in fact been written up in the blogosphere, in at least the Queen City blog and Bill White's blog.

you point out that the story is dated 7/19 in the DP, but it is dated 7/11 in other news outlets. clearly the scope of your research and the blogs you check out are quite insular and parochial-- always a sign of quality craftsmanship.
