My mother expressed her jealousy the other day at the fact that she's never been featured on my blog. "All your friends have cool grammar pseudonyms -- I want one, too!" she proclaimed. I told her that if I ever did refer to her on the blog, it was probably as "Mom," not as ProperAdjective or something (though if she did have a grammar pseudonym, I guess that would work).

"No," she was quick to point out, "I'm never on the blog!"
