There’s a problem going on with bowling alleys, especially the ones in College Park, and it needs to be fixed.
In an attempt to “stay hip” bowling alleys have resorted to playing music videos during play. And that’s fine. I think it’s great that I get to listen to some good music while I’m bowling. But during the music videos the bowling alley will have messages crawl along the bottom screen, advertising 99 cent bowling or some other crap.
This doesn’t sound like much of a problem but imagine you’re deaf. That ad makes it seem like the person in the video is rapping about Brunswick currently hiring. If I’m deaf I’m walking around wondering how the hell the bowling alley could afford having Nelly rap about the 25 dollar bowling pin sale. That kind of question would bug me for life.
(And yes, I know what you’re thinking. A million singers in the world and he chooses Nelly?? It was the first name that came to my head. So screw you.)
