Attention Whartonites: The Second Great Depression Is Here, But Remember "Money Can't Buy You Happiness"

The Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 500 points yesterday, dipping below 10,000 mark for the first time in four years and signaling the arrival of the Second Great American Depression.

 

For those currently on Wall Street feeling the burn and the graduate students at Wharton who inevitably will, here are some comforting words courtesy of Canadian rapper Jellestone: “Money can’t buy you happiness.”

 

Remember these words of wisdom well, because when you’re working at McDonald’s for minimum wage in the near future, you’re going to need all the positive reinforcement you can get.
