Pittsburgh hates young people. The wheels are moving forward on a drink tax that would tax every alcoholic beverage sold in Allegheny County. Fantastic. Good job, Pittsburgh. Discourage young people from sticking around and revitalizing the city with their fresh optimism and education by imposing a ridiculous tax to help out the Port Authority, who is broke.

Crap like this sends a message to young people, and it says "We're stuck in the 1960s. Sincerely, Pittsburgh." 

So congrats to all the college students in Pittsburgh -- you may now have to pay more for a drink while you look for a job elsewhere.
