If you’re completely broke (and, puh-lease, who isn’t?) but you still want to know what’s going on around the city, scour the streets until you find yourself a copy of the freebie gem Campus Connection magazine. Who says you can’t get anything good for free? Pick it up and you’ll find a wealth of information inside, every last drop of it aimed at you, the venerable college student (just wipe that leftover drool over your t-shirt before you step out from the dorm room, really, we’re begging you.)

Campus Connection features articles about the hottest movies, You-tube videos, and websites, the down-and-dirty on the city’s dining establishments, and how to make and save money without getting yet another workstudy job. The arts and theatre column drops knowledge about all the ways you can get your culture on each month, and, lucky for your broke ass, many of the events featured are free or low-cost. The Scoop column gives you the nitty-gritty, ain’t-so-pretty about all of the local colleges around town -- so if you are just dying to know what’s going on over at Rhode Island College or RISD, but don’t want to leave Thayer Street or pull up google to find out, just read it!
