High School Musical 3 Makes Debut Today, Star Zac Efron To Hit University of Southern California?

Tonight if you hear a high pitch squealing in your ears, don’t worry. It’s just the premiere of High School Musical 3: Senior Year. The Disney franchise is back and on the big screen.

So take a stroll down memory lane and relive your high school years, though to be fair, the movie is really targeted at the tween set . Still, why not enjoy a little mindless fun. The frothy flick follows Zach Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisday, Corbin Bleu and Monique Coleman as they head towards graduation, college and the prom (eeeek!). Plus there’s pop tunes a plenty to remind you that this is an upbeat! wholesome! fun-for-the-whole-family film! The trailer above says it all.

But what will happen when the HSM films come to an end? Fear not, I’m sure the Mouse House has another bubble gum blockbuster up it’s sleeve. In the meantime, though, the cast will go its separate ways.

For high school heartthrob Zac Efron that could mean the University of South Carolina. The 21-year-old was accepted to the film school and he plans to attend… just not right now. He’s deferred enrollment to work on other projects, but who knows… he may leave his Wildcat days behind to become a Trojan. Disney might freak out though. What if people mistakenly connect their golden boy to condoms? The horror!

its the University of Southern California NOT South Carolina. The University of South Carolina is SC not USC. There's only one USC :-P.

And it's Ashley Tisdale not Tisday.
