It’s time to break out the “Oh no they didn’t!” Yesterday, UCLA began running an advertisement in the Los Angeles Times calling out their rivals at USC by saying, “The Football Monopoly in Los Angeles is Officially Over.”
Pissed off USC fans were not about to leave ad unnoticed and left comments on the OC Register website such as:
Well at least they recognize that there is a monopoly :) Fight On!!!! –Keren
One word- IDIOT! Especially when all the top recruits watch the Trojans KICK the CRAP out of them! One more word- Brilliant- Only if they win. It’s better to keep your mouth shut on the playground when the biggest bully in the land plays in the same yard as you do! –John B.
As a Duck fan, all I can say is wow. Putting a chip on Goliath’s shoulder IS NOT a good idea. He will now focus on David a whole lot more. Yikes UCLA! –Mark
Oh dear, why can’t we all just play nice? This isn’t sportsmanship! You never see the debate team get all up in arms. Oh wait, yes you do.
