From what I've heard, the professors have been tough coming back from October Break, and I for one, can testify this to be true.  After exams and exams and exams prior to break, I come back to three quizzes in my first three classes, on my first day! Do professors not realize we have more important things in life than their classes?! I've heard story after story of post-Fall Break drama similar to this. What's the need in raising our stress levels as soon as we step foot back on campus?! Yes, many students are in college to be challenged, but putting us through hell to get there may not be the best way to challenge us! Of course this new 'challenge' is not unfamiliar by any means; the student buzz about this semester being harder than the rest has been a common conversation with many thus far. Professors have been implementing new grading policies, along with more quizzes in classes that previously never had them.  Also with the new grading system of adding pluses and minuses to one's grade, this semester has proven to be not only my toughest semester in my third year of college, but many other's toughest semesters as well.
