Sticking around campus for the summer only to find that there's absolutely nothing to do whatsoever?!?
These days, the Row may not be the crazy noisy social scene it usually is, and 30th street might as well be dead too. While I can't give you any tips about partying in South Central, I can advise you to check out something that's not only close-by, but also FREE!
This summer, USC's beloved and good-for-something School of Cinematic Arts (SCA) is hosting a screening series every week, featuring the work of recent alumni who are making it big in Hollywood, or at least trying to. Started in May, the series has already showcased films like War, Inc. (John Cusack, Dan Akroyd) and You Don't Mess with the Zohan (Adam Sandler, Robert Smigel, Judd Apatow). This week, watch out for The Incredible Hulk (yes, the same movie came out 5 years ago, but this one stars Edward Norton!) and The Happening. Anyone is invited to go. The kick? You must RSVP first on SCA's website.

Oh, and one more thing: NO BRUINS ALLOWED.
