"Green Porno" Spurs Alternative Porn Movement

Thanks to Isabella Rossellini's film series about insect sex, "going green" is about to take on a whole new meaning for college students.
Isabella Rossellini co-directs and stars in “Green Porno,” a series of shorts for the Sundance Channel. The series covers the copulation practices of insects from the earthworm to the bee. In a unique approach to the randy subject matter, the format combines the whimsy of a children’s book with biological fact.
On college campuses, people are finding other outlets to the normal hardcore (or softcore) action of Playboy playmates or Vivid girls. In this world devoid of silicone and Brazilian waxes, students have found comical, but equally sexual, alternatives to the norms of the porn industry.
Lobster Dorm Porn
Students purchase sets of female and male lobsters, put them in a sizeable fish tank and watch them go to work. This aggressive claw action is a great placement to those sadomasochistic films.
Gerbil Porn
This one is a little harder to pull off because most campuses don’t allow these lovely creatures. Discretion is the key to enjoying the spoils of these rodents. Gerbils mate for several hours, which means there will be long periods of viewing pleasure, the best part is gerbil thumping – the mating call of the gerbil.
Plant Porn
Plant pornography is a slower process and less sexy. It is better to observe plants like ferns or mosses to see them “touch” each other and develop.
