The Badger Short Bus in all its glory, as cropped from today's Daily Cardinal.
A bunch of UW senior industrial engineering students (of course) bought this short bus, painted it, and now tool around campus on game days in it. Here's what students need to know about it:
1) They rigged the wheelchair lift into a keg lift.
2) It gives lifts to whoever flags it down on game days FREE.
3) They hand out shirts to riders saying "I rode the short bus."
4) The bus itself cost $2,000, plus the time and money these students put into detailing it, and it only gets 5 (FIVE) mpg, so at least a $3 donation is requested. Be generous.
