"Anonymous" hits one out of the park.
Badger Football coach Brett Bielema met with Dean of Students Lori Berquam last Monday to make sure Lance Smith was getting a fair shake. This is the same Lance Smith who allegedly knocked his girlfriend around over a disputed $10 cab fare, a point they don't seem to be contesting.
Was Bielema appealing Smith's suspension from all road games for the cab fare incident?
He seems to have been making a plea on Smith's behalf at the very least, insisting that new information has come to light (and probably doing his best Jeffrey Lebowski impression).
