Sadly, it appears the days of buses packed with masturbating homeless people and obnoxious dudebros abusing old women will soon be over.

The city of Madison is planning to install video cameras on all buses by 2010. Twenty of the city's 204 buses are currently cam-ready, but the increase is meant to dissuade even more people from their usual antics. The city also wants to be able to use the footage as evidence against potential violent crimes taking place.

Would this be an effective means of deterring tomfoolery? Anyone daring enough to do something stupid in a bus would most certainly be deterred by one more (be it robotic) witness to their dumbassness. Or perhaps this is all an elaborate ruse to obtain footage for the debut "Bus Riders Gone Wild."
