Chelsea Clinton braved today's arctic temperatures and poorly   
           shoveled sidewalks to stump for mom.   That's life at UW these days.

Ms. Clinton held a town hall/meet & greet at the Memorial Union this evening and yours truly was there to check out the scene.   The packed lounge was overflowing with vulture-necked onlookers, trying to get a glimpse of the former first-daughter.   Chelsea knows her stuff when it comes to her mother's policy, answering questions sans notes and never fumbling for words.  Whether you agree with her stances or not, props to that.  Hey, it's more than our current Pres can pull off.   

The around 2-hour event went smoothly, sans some J-hole yelling that "Hillary wants to bomb Iran" a few times about 20 minutes in.  Very productive and informative, J-hole, thanks for that.    Chelsea promised her mom will visit Madison before the primary.  Obama will be at the Kohl Center tomorrow waxing poetic about "hope and change."  Just taking a stab in the dark. 

After the Q & A, the jeans and tailored-jacket clad Chelsea (I had to go all E! red carpet for the Coasties) stayed to take pictures, sign stuff, and even chat a bit.
