Former Disney Star and Barnard Dropout Christy Carlson Romano is Down with Violence, Possibly Nudity in New Roles

You know her, she was in “Even Stevens” with Shia LeBeouf, did voices in “Kim Possible” and co-starred in a Disney flick or two with Hilary Duff, but Christy Carlson Romano is all grown up now, and that means more adult roles involving more adult situations.

She currently stars in “Avenue Q” on Broadway which involves simulated puppet sex (a la “Team America”), but now she’s about to be a werewolf for the film “Wolfsbayne,” which is about vampires fighting werewolves. Don’t worry, it’s not a rip off of “Underworld” because the vampires are evil and the werewovles good. Actually no wait, it’s still completely a rip off of “Underworld.” But hey, it has to be better than “Blood and Chocolate.”

Romano claims that her fans are now in college (hey, that must be you guys!) and they now want to see her in more adult roles, and what’s more adult than biting people with proshetic wolf fangs? But what else does adult mean? In a a word: boobies. She had this to say when she saw a very naked Daniel Radcliffe in “Equus.”

“James Lipton was sitting to my left,” she said. “And I go, ‘I might giggle at the nudity, I hope that doesn’t offend you,’ and he goes, ‘Would you ever do nudity?’ And I’m like, ‘Where am I right now? Am I “In The Actor’s Studio”?’ Would I ever do nudity? I don’t know, but I guess these are things you have to prepare for if you ever want to be on the Actor’s Studio. And my favorite curse word. There’s so many that I like. Probably ‘F—.’ Thanks, you heard it here first, on MTV News. And I just swore in front of a whole bunch of people I don’t know,” she laughed. “Should I just undress now and get it all over with?”

Uhh, did she just offer to get naked for James Lipton? I think so. Even MTV is skeptical as their article ends with:

What makes a role an adult role? Is it the level of sex, violence, and language, or is it the content? What kind of roles would you like to see Christy Carlson Romano play?

Wow, you just called out on your morals by MTV, how does that feel Romano?
