In Madison, every night is a going out night, whether it is the start of the weekend or that miserable Monday. The motto for drinking in Madison is that you should be at a bar on the days that end with a “y”. So if you are looking to keep up with the Sconnie tradition and find yourself hitting the bars, make sure you know where to go and what bars are serving drinks for the best prices.

Make Monday night beer night and where you can find the cheapest beers this town has to offer. Two State Street favorites, City & Hawk’s, have specials on Coronas all day long. City offers $2.50 Coronas and Cuervo shots while Hawk’s is doing something similar, offering $2 Coronas. What a reason to drink!

Tuesday Boozedays: the ultimate day of drinking. Your week isn’t any where close to being over so why not drink through it. Tuesday, the day filled with Happy Hours, has many bars offering great deals on drinks. From 3-6pm, Brother’s happy hour means many drink deals, such as $5 wine and half-priced Whiskey. If you’re looking for a happy hour that won’t get you fired, Crave offers their signature martinis from 5-7 for only $3-5.

If you need to take a drinking break and it happens to fall on a Wednesday, Madison bars also offer incredible deals on food, just in case you opt for a grub break. Brats on State Street offers 10 wings for $1.50 and Buffalo Wild Wings is serving up 70 cent legs. I don’t know about you,
but when the food is cheaper than the liquor, I’m totally in.

Ah Thursday; the night us college kids consider the start of the weekend. For me, Thursdays mean margarita madness, and I always know just where to go to get a steal. Frida’s not only offers great Mexican food, they also have ½ price Margaritas all day long. Places like Tutto Pasta and Madhatter’s are also serving up cheap Margs with catches such as 2 for 1 deals and mugs cheaper than 3 bucks.

And finally, when you just might explode from the drinking overload, you can’t miss out on Friday dollar deals. What kind of drinker would you be if you did? Bars such as Mondays, Regent Street Retreat, and The Annex offer Friday dollar deals such as $1 taps and $1 Kamikazes.
