If you are a freshman living in Towers this year, walking to this store probably requires taking 6 steps to fulfill all of your shopping needs.

If you’re looking for designer finds that could potentially break the bank, BOP has everything from Marc Jacobs to Diane von Furstenberg. With its own amazing website, you can shop online and return in person. What a reason to use the web!

When winter rolls around and you aren’t looking to spend all your money in one place, Up has the essentials like long coats and rain boots. If the shopping bug wears you out mid splurge, Up has its own mani/pedi station where you can relax after a long day of spending.

If you are feeling home sick, find a store that you have actually seen before. American Apparel, with its brand new opening, has been a State Street hit offering the trendiest high-waisted skirts and v-neck tees a college kid could dream of. Beware: any new item that hits the store floor will most likely be spotted adorning the body of at least 5 girls tomorrow night.

Though sometimes I wish this Madison shopping list would go on for pages, we have to make do with where we can splurge. There may not be a lot of stores to choose from, but they really do have some great clothes for the girl who cannot wait 3 months until they get home to spend.
