Missing Student Found On Another Campus

After missing for the past eight months, this Rice student was found on UC Berkeley’s campus. Back in December, Matthew Wilson withdrew $500 out of his bank account and fled like fugitive. Police arrested Wilson after being linked to a laptop theft on campus.

A very serious student, Wilson was a straight-A computer science major who never missed classes. He raised suspicion when his roommate had not seen him for three days and heard he had missed his finals. Wilson’s worried roommate called the police. Wilson vanished without a trace; he left no note and never placed any phone calls to his family about his mysterious whereabouts.

With unshakable hope and everlasting optimism, Wilson’s mother set out to find her son after hearing that there were reported sightings of him at UC Berkeley. After pinning up countless posters of Matthew and an exhausting and fruitless search, she returned home upset and defeated.

Now eight months later, Wilson has reappeared and his family is left wondering why this seemingly happy 21-year-old abandoned his successful school career and loving family.

Whatever the reason, Wilson is alive and well. His mother was so happy to hear about his reappearance that she vowed not to flood him with questions about his mysterious disappearance. The police, however, have not taken to Wilson so kindly. After being found in a computer lab at Berkeley, Wilson provided the officer with a bogus ID and later fessed up about his true identity.

Wilson was arrested and taken to the Berkeley City Jail and then transferred to a psychiatric ward for observance. He has now been released and is under investigation.

Wilson is not the only student to go missing under strange circumstances. There were two other computer science majors.

One, Ahmad Arain - UCLA, recovered enough in six weeks to remember his email address. Suzanne Lyall is still missing as is Brian Shaffer, Maura Murray, and Michael Negrete.

They all have information in their stories that points to Subliminal Distraction as the cause of the disappearance. SD was discovered when it caused mental breaks for office workers. The cubicle solved that problem by 1968. The phenomenon is believed to be a harmless nuisance in the design of crowded offices.

Schools are unaware such a problem exists and students are not warned.

VisionAndPsychosis.Net is a five year investigation of Subliminal Distraction. It is explained in the first 400 words of the introduction.

Oh good god, if a cubicle is a cure for something, we are doomed. Posted 08/18/2008 6:49 PMReply
