The final acts slated for the Summerfest 2008 lineup were recently announced.

The event known as the "World's Largest Music Festival" kicks off June 26 in Milwaukee and wraps up on July 6.  For your convenience (and because I'm nice like that) I sifted through the tediously slow (at the moment at least) site and below are some of the acts rocking this year's festival.  Visit Ticketmaster for ticket info for Marcus Amphitheater, which is the only stage at Summerfest that requires an additional reserved ticket (or a free bar-coded wristband at some shows for general admission lawn seating).

The lineup seems light on hip-hop this year.  Tons more acts listed on the site.  For Summerfest 2008, the price of an adult ticket purchased at the gate weekdays (Noon - 4 pm) is $8.00. Evening and weekend adult admission tickets purchased at the gate are $15.
