The restaurant “No Thai!” on South University has been met with criticism since its opening in fall 2005. Members of the Thai Student Association have been lobbying for a name change for two years now, but to no ado. It remains named after their head chef and co-owner, Noerung Hang, whose nickname is “No”. The TSA is presently working with campus group “Expect Respect” to raise awareness of the offense that Thai students are taking.

In other news, the Chabad and Hillel houses have joined together against the all-solids factory on Washtenaw named “No Juice!”
