Oklahoma Athletes Stabbed in Violent Bar Brawl

Mayhem erupted at a local nightclub this weekend as two University of Oklaholma athletes were stabbed in a brawl. More than just an average barfight however, the melee was said to involve guns, knives, tire irons, and someone being struck by a vehicle.

The two atheletes, now identified as football defensive end Frank Alexander (pictured) and basketball guard Ray Willis, were taken to the hospital via private car for their knife wounds and both required surgery.

The fight broke out when a group of people tried to crash a private party, but were rebuffed. They then allegedly attacked the partygoers and calls began pouring into the police that people were being shot or stabbed. No arrests have been made, but the police say that the event is under investigation. The brawl happened on Sunday in the wake of the Sooner’s 57-2 crushing of Chattanooga in their football season opener, but only today have the names of the two victims been released.

All the best to Frank and Ray.
