That's right, guys; some thoughtful, sweet, romantic douchebag just raised the bar on you again.

Some boyfriend came up with the obnoxiously clever and romantic idea to sidewalk chalk notes to his girlfriend all the way down Park St.  Everyone on their way to College Library tonight is reading:

-"you got me grounded from my home phone"

-"only you would beat all the guys at poker night"

-"I want to drop you of college with you!"

-"I just got stopped by a cop and had to tell him it was chalk. Bet he felt stupid."

-"Happy Anniversary!"

There are at least five blocks of these notes, complete with directional arrows and caution messages at every road crossing ("Watch out!" "Look both ways!").

To the girl: Nice catch. Hope you're feeling better and had a good day at work.

To the sidewalk chalking-boyfriend: Well done. Hope it paid dividends next time your girl got you alone. If not, there are a couple dozen girls in the area that spent tonight eating ice cream with their roommates gushing over how jealous they are.
