The xenophobic side show that is David Horowitz' "Islamo-Fascism Awareness Week" starts today, can you feel it? The whole week kicks off with some documentary tonight. Whatever, the real deal is when former Pennsylvania Senator, and PSU Alum Rick Santorum comes to speak tomorrow night.

Tomorrow at 8pm, Rick Santorum will be speaking at 119 Osmond as part of the "Islamo-Fascism Awareness Week" and it looks like plenty of protesters will be at the event. The Penn State Muslim Student Association has already announced their "Peace Not Prejudice" seminar series in response to this week, and one would assume there will be plenty of people outside with signs and such. 

In today's Collegian, Santorum says that the Muslim Student Association is misdirected: "In fact, what should offend Muslims is people who take their faith and use it for political purposes to attack innocent people," he said. Good thing no Christian groups do anything like that, huh Rick?

Well, guess not all our alumni can appear in Star Trek, some have to be Islam-hating, right-wing former senators.
