Boise State students seem to already have winter set upon them, as the sky gods have shown us with their dandruff.
As of last night, snow has officially struck the BSU campus and today the cold white stuff appeared en mass. Unfortunately, none of it seems to want to stick, so apparently this little showing is nothing more than a tease for the winter sports enthusiasts. Weather.com predicts we’ll see some more on Sunday and be back to sunny skies and in the mid-60s next week.
Did I miss something? What happened to fall? I was hoping to enjoy the crisp breeze as I walked to campus and falling leaves along Michigan Ave. on the way to the Rec Center. Students will have to deal with slush and the cold very prematurely this semester.
Now I definitely don’t envy anyone forced to perform a walk of shame, but maybe the weather will be conducive to encouraging alternative coed indoor recreation activities.
