The North Carolina Tar Heels will face the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame this Sunday in the women's soccer national title game.
The Heels made it to the final game after a 1-0 win over UCLA. Carolina's goal was a result of a penalty kick by senior Yael Averbuch.
The Irish beat Stanford 1-0 to make it to the title match. Their lone goal was scored by freshman Courtney Barg
The Fighting Irish are undefeated this season (although they did lose an exhibition game to Virginia). Carolina has one loss: to Notre Dame. Hopefully the rematch will go better for the Heels than the first match-up did.
