Senior Class Prez Charged for Stealing From the Union
The loot?  Bus tickets.

According to The Capital Times, UW Junior Oliver Delgado was charged with misdemeanor theft for stealing bus tickets from the Memorial Union information desk.  The most amusing/infuriating part, well, one of the many amusing parts?  Officers tracked down Delgado on March 27 and he admitted to the theft.  The elections were from April 1 to 3.  He KNEW he was busted, but he still ran.  Did he not think sh*t would hit the fan?!

Delgado told UW officers he and his roommate went to the Union to get tickets for the bus so they could catch a flight at O'Hare for spring break.  The information desk was closed, so naturally the only course of action was to steal 6 tickets.  Dude, if your cover up story is that you and your roommate desperately needed tickets for an early flight, wouldn't you only swipe 2 tickets?  Nice try, Mr. Prez.

Check out Delgado's "Oliver 4 Sr. Class President!!!" Facebook group:

He plans (planned?) to support...
"1) HIGHER resale VALUE on TEXTBOOK$ (let's get the money back that we spent on them!)"  He paid for them, really he did!

His vision for UW...
"By strengthening the student body, I hope to facilitate personal growth and learning."  What?
