Wisconsin Budget: 110 Days Later
State legislators have still yet to complete the budget for 2008-9, which makes Wisconsin the only state in the nation to do so. That means scholarships, school funding and loans are still backlogged in the clogged toilet that is democratic bureaucracy.

So organizations took to the capital lawn Wednesday to do what protesters do best: make signs and look pissed. Some want no new taxes while others just want the damn thing to get ratified.

And if nothing happens? During a press conference a few days back, Governor Doyle said the incompletion of the budget could lead to the dissolution of the state government. So for all you anarchists, make sure to wash your best black T-shirt, because that day may soon arrive.
