Today's been pretty depressing: it's been grey and 40 degrees all day, the pre-Thanksgiving work is piling up, and of course, the news reminds us that everyone is hateful - even Yalies.

#1 - After last week's racial slur was spray-painted on a Davenport wall, a copycat (or the same hooligans, for all we know) spray-painted "DRAMA ****S" on the wall of the University Theatre. Really, what's sadder here: the fact that this person is so hateful, or the fact that they have absolutely no creativity in coming up with insults? Come on, dude - your hate speech is so juvenile, we're just embarrassed for you.

#2 - Two female Yale Law School students are filing lawsuits against users on AutoAdmit, a law admissions website. Reading a copy of the official complaint is almost laughable - posters (one of whom used Yale Law professor Harold Koh's name as a moniker) wrote things about these chicks, such as the fact that one "HAS HUGE FAKE TITS AND IS UNIVERSALLY HATED," in what position they would have sex with one, that one deserves to be raped, and other generally awful and misogynistic comments.

Come on, everyone - where's the love? Well, there are at least a few people mentioned here who are getting lumps of coal in their stockings this year.
