Wyoming Student and Gay Rights Icon Matthew Shepard's Autopsy Report Goes Missing

Exactly ten years after gay Wymoning student Matthew Shepard was beaten, tied to a fence post and left to die, his autopsy records have gone missing in the Albany county coroner’s office. The coroner, Tom Furgeson, said he received a small box of records when he came into office, and upon investigation realized that there should be way, way more records than a small box full for the last sixteen years of cases. Among the missing is Matthew Shepard’s.

No one yet believes they were stolen. Maybe the last county coroner just got drunk and hid them somewhere. And before anyone starts shouting “anti-gay conspiracy,” Matthew Shepard’s killer was convicted to serve two consecutive life sentences (how do you even serve two consecutive life sentences? Do you reincarnate and then get put in jail again).

Needless to say, the townsfolk are up in arms about the situation, and every effort if being made to locate the lost records.
