Carrie Underwood Maybe Dating Travis Stork, Vanderbilt U. Medical Center Resident, Even Though He Was on The Bachelor

It must be in their genetic makeup, alongside the the DNA that makes them want to belt it out for Paula and Company on Fox: those American Idol ladies are all over the guys from The Bachelor. First, there was Jennifer Hudson and David Otunga, now it’s Carrie Underwood and Travis Stork. Media gossips (like CollegeOTR, apparently) are reporting that Underwood has been seen repeatedly with Stork, an alum of The Bachelor, UVA, and Duke who is currently completing his residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

The International Business Times reports:

The 25-year-old country singer Carrie Underwood has led a turbulent love life, however she may have found a keeper in the aspiring physician, Travis Stork.

The couple have been spotted together over several occasions in the past month and have been fueling rumors that the two have become one in an exclusive relationship. The Associated Press reports that Stork presented her with a diamond ring on a necklace Monday night, however.

Underwood has also reportedly given Stork an all-access backstage pass to her recent shows.

The 33-year-old Stork, who is completing his residency at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn., declared at the outset of this latest "Bachelor" season that he was looking for "the woman who catches my eye maybe with the way she smiles, the way I first react to her."

So, was the first time that Underwood caught Stork’s eye when she was on American Idol getting a verbal colonoscopy from Simon Cowell? Or did they meet the old-fashioned way, at some sort of reality TV star event, traversing television networks and snickers to be with each other? Only time and a People magazine cover will tell. Until then, semi-disinterested speculation shall ensue.
