Starbucks, perhaps to make up for closing 600 of its stores this year is offering a discount for the biggest of coffee aficionados. For the remainder of this summer and fall, any Starbucks customer at any US store presenting a reciept from a morning purchase will recieve any Grande iced beverage for only $2. Considering that a grande beverage usually costs around $4, this is a pretty great deal. Considering that this only applies to those of us who need a grande coffee mid day to follow up our morning one and that $4 is an exorbitant price for a beverage anyway, it's kind of lame.

But hey--what can you do? We here at OTR love coffee and everyone loves free things. And this is a combination of the two...sort of. And we all know that once the school year starts, those surviving on a mere 2 cups per day are lucky!
