According to this CNN article, men frequently misinterpret signals from women.

In a study of college students at Indiana U and Yale, heterosexual college males misinterpreted 12% of women's signals, whereas women only misinterpreted 8.7% of male signals.

This rather old information may cause you to let out a bored, obvious, "duh!", but luckily, CNN has provided misinterpreting men with a list of body language that are tell-tale signs that the woman in mind is, in fact, into you:

1) Licking her lips (Other than being obviously sexy, nerves and excitement cause dry mouth)

2) Crossing her legs/dangling her shoes (She has great thighs. She works hard for them. Look at them, goddamn it!)

3) Touching your arm or hand (One of the strongest signals!)

4) Leaning in (She feels safe in your presence)

5) Playing with her hair (She wants to look good for you)

6) Caressing your upper thigh (We made this one up. But it does probably mean she's into you. Or she wants a free shot. Of Grey Goose, please)
