UW-Madison Student is a Heartless Pyromanic
All I can ask is, “WHAT THE HELL WAS HE THINKING?”

Maybe he’s just a thoughtless idiot, but I’m glad Max Korman is facing felony property damage charges. Did he really not know how much havoc he was going to raise by setting off the sprinkler system in student housing?

For those who don’t know, back in April Max thought it would be smart/funny to set off the fire alarms at the University House Towers. As the emergency sprinklers drenched the entire building, Max casually strolled back to his apartment. Security cameras caught him in the act, and now (haha sucker!) officials are going make him take responsibility for the $20,000 worth of damage he causes.

Not only did he ruin everyone’s stuff, he ruined our sleep. When the alarms went off at 2am, 400 kids had to haul ass out of bed. They were stuck outside for hours while the fire department tried to put out the mess.

According to an article in today’s Daily Cardinal, Korman could face up to three years and six months in jail for the felony charge and up to nine months in prison for the misdemeanor charge or fines of $10,000.

I hope he get every single second of jail time. Our school doesn’t need punk-a*s kids like him hanging around.
