Summer's Almost Over, But Fall Seems Promising

Summer's Almost Over, But Fall Seems Promising

The lazy hazy days of summer are coming to an end, and although this brings some bad news (classes, shared showers, tuition payments), we'd like to think the good outweighs the bad (frat parties, freshmen, the return of our favorite TV shows).

Ah yes. Our favorite TV shows. This summer has proved altogether disappointing on the TV front, with a few decent episodes of Weeds and a lot of rather satisfying 30 Rock streamed from NBC.com, but nothing new in between. The networks, however, have chosen this week to promote all of our favorite fall shows. Goodie.

The CW's Gossip Girl brings us 6 10 second teaser clips from Season 2--Blair, you dirty girl. NBC, not to be trumped, shows us a preview of Season 3 of Heroes--"Good will battle evil?!"-looks dramatic! We want Grey's Anatomy previews (get it together, MerDer!), Office spinoffs with or without Amy Poehler, new murderous Dexter Morgan schemes and more than anything, the return of LOST.

What do YOU think? Which fall show are you most excited for?

Gossip Girl! Duh. (XOXO)

4-8-15-16-23-42 (If you don't know which show this references, you are obviously not a fan.)

Heroes--complete with Milo and Hayden romancing!

The Office.

Grey's Anatomy. What "real" medical drama can they think of next?

Dexter! (Although I still have some catching up to do)

Other--I'll tell you in comments.

I'm waiting for "Private Practice", but only because of great actors. Tim Daly and Audra McDonald are brilliant. I admire them both. Posted 07/22/2008 2:17 PMReply
