The Hustler Tries too Hard

Clearly, Vanderbilt student journalists have a hard time coming up with news-worthy material.  While the Hustler's "project" attempting to break down stereotypes and focus on the individual's story is admirable, is it really front page news?

It's no wonder Vanderbilt gets stereotyped the way it does, when a series aimed at "looking past the label" makes the front page of the major campus paper.  Students shouldn't have to read interesting exposés to conquer their prejudices.

Just one question: is this series going to attempt to breakdown the stereotype of the typical Vandy?

thank you for pointing this out. that "news feature" is so ridiculously stupid. people were bitching about it on insidevandy, but other than that no one seems to care.

the hustler is utterly useless. telling random chicks' stories isn't going to do shit for the spirit of community or whatever it is they're trying to do.
