As a service to the incoming freshmen, I have decided to provide a weekly "Things To Bring To College" Blog. In my freshman year, I have found that aside from the basics (underwear, school , textbooks, beer bong) there are some things Vanderbilt students simply cannot do without.


1. Nurse Outfit

If you are a girl, especially one planning to join a sorority, it is imperative you bring a complete "Hot Nurse" outfit to school. I must admit, I own one myself , and have found that the number of occasions on which such an outfit comes in handy is unlimited. Aside from the actual Halloween (which, at Vanderbilt, lasts a full weekend if not a week), fraternity parties provide countless opportunities to flaunt ones exposed breasts and red cross cap. These parties boast themes such as "Dirty Doctors and Naughty Nurses," "Rescue Me", and the much more accomodating "What's Your Fantasy" party (for which it is acceptable to don a Hot Cop, Hot Firefighter, Hot Disney Character, Hot Angel/Devil or one of the many assorted Hot Animals and Insects). The Hot Nurse outfit is particularly effective when worn in groups, or at least pairs, so message all your new Facebook friends as soon as possible as to ensure you all purchase identical curve hugging corsets and white fishnets--a flaw in the costume continuity will greatly diminish the attractiveness of drunken Facebook photos to follow.
