Wait...This is the South?

If you go to Vanderbilt and haven't noticed yet, though located in Nashville, one of the backbones of the south along with overalls and Dolly Parton, that vibe of country music and slow talking doesn't really make its way onto campus. That is, not as much as Yankees hats, Ugg boots, and jewish noses.

Where did all these ****ing northerners come from? The campus has become almost more regionally segregated than racially...although I doubt there's anyway you'll get the af/ams to do anything other than hang out obnoxiously in Rand all day. The only southern reminders are KA and SAE with their pastel and khaki uniforms.

Also, if you are from Florida, that still counts as the north. Especially Miami. Cocaine is not southern.

You know, I used to be like a lot of people are, which is unappreciative of the South and all it has to offer. I mean, I'm warm, and everyday I get to talk to random people I don't know, because people actually are friendly in the South. And I can enjoy all the country vegetables I want. You need to watch what you say about racial groups/ sterotyping people on campus because you have no idea what you're talking about. I take it that you are not afr/am or friends with anyone outside of the caucasian or "passing" races. This means that you are relying on your eye witness accounts of afr/am activities (which clearly only include sitting at rand) to sum up who they are and what they're all about, right? well take a ****ing closer look around you and YOUR personal table at rand as you sit there obnoxiously and pissed on the outskirts of the afr/am table because they're so ****ing loud and ghetto in addition to being lazy, right?
