In this presentation of FTMYGGrrrrr I am pleased to present English professor Elizabeth Tallent, the short story siren of the Creative Writing program. She manages to keep students awake in her short story class with funny and sometimes raunchy commentary -- "Of course, what do I know about heterosexual sex? I'm just a little old lesbian." was the stand-out lecture comment of my winter quarter. Homegirl also knows how to rock a seriously sexy pantsuit.

She is widely renowned not only for her short story collections, but also her ability to read literally any story as a commentary on the patriarchy's desire to deny women the ability to write. Sounds like somebody has daddy issues...
