After much anticipation, the GW Hatchet is finally reporting the headline act for September 8th's Fall Fest: renowned one hit wonder and Grammy winner (for their music video, not their music), OK Go.

The Fall Fest-ivities will also include performances from catchy Jack Johnson-esqe singer-songwriter, Derek James and student band/recycling enthusiasts, Bottles/Cans.

For some students, it might seem that GW has outdone itself as far as misguised event planning goes, supplying a band famous for a music video featuring treadmills, a surprisingly catchy but completely unknown singer-songwriter, and a student band with a measly 126 MySpace fans.

Of course, wannabe GW hipsters are (awkwardly) jumping for joy. For all of you "indie rock" fans out there: you may have won this one, but the war is not over yet.
