Remember that whole Duke Lacrosse rape scandal that happened a little over a year ago? Of course you do, and I’m sure Reade Seligmann does too. After all, Crystal Mangum (the stripper from Hell) picked him out of a line-up, gave authorities a bogus declaration that he was involved, and shoved him into the national spotlight non-stop for a little over a year (I’m sure it felt like ten).

It’s no surprise that the 21 year-old honors student and future History concentrator simply needs to get away from all the drama; well, he definitely couldn’t have picked a better place (if I can say so myself). He’ll probably have fun playing lacrosse in a relaxed (almost non-competitive) atmosphere, meeting a few more non-white people, experiencing rainy New England, and becoming more liberal. In all seriousness, I’m very happy for Seligmann, and I’m sure he’ll definitely get that fresh start he deserves.

Plus, I don’t think he’ll find any strip clubs nearby.
