Yesterday, Spartan football fans received a phone call from Mark Dantonio, urging us to head to Spartan Stadium this fall and support the athletes that will be working so hard for us.  Now I was on the fence about buying tickets this year, but ever since I listened to the apathetic prerecorded voicemail I got from Coach D, all I can think about is how exciting this season is going to be.  Sure, the Spartans may not win a single conference game all year,  but like Mark said, they players will be committed to hard-work, hustle, and determination.  Who could ask for more than that?

Sorry Mark, believe it or not leaving a message on my phone sounding like a 5th grader reading off his book report to the class didn't get me "pumped up" for the season.  If I wanted to go watch a game for hustle and hard-work,  I'd buy season tickets to the Detroit Shock.

Ok, no I would never do that, and I'll still get football tickets.  Damn you Spartan Football.  Damn you.
