This is a bit of old news, but a couple weekends ago some girl drove up on the curb downtown and hit 8 people right in front of Big Al’s. She then proceeded to crash her car into a lamp post. Luckily no one was killed, but quite a few were injured. Apparently she told the police she was sending a text message, and that caused the crash... I’m sure the BAC of .2 didn’t help either. The lesson learned: Don’t drink and drive (and text message.)
