Apparently American Idol producers are tired of rejecting individuals, so now they're turning to groups.
"The Next Great American Band," premiering this October, is pretty much exactly like Idol, except the competition is between groups of two or more people. So this means that the first five episodes will consist of about three times as many people with absolutely no talent.
Are Americans going to be able to handle this?
