Collegiate nerds, video game enthusiasts and World of Warcraft junkies, rejoice!

Blizzard, the acclaimed creators of WoW, Diablo and Starcraft, has released a new cinematic trailer for their upcoming World of Warcraft expansion pack, The Wrath of the Lich King, and it’s chilling – to say the least.

In the short, yet mind-blowing, three-minute clip, we see the Lich King traverse an arctic wasteland, and then plunge his sword into the snow to summon forth Rosie O'Donnell a gigantic demon.

Yes – this beast will be an actual enemy in the game, and that can only mean one thing to a seasoned WoW player: EPIC LOOT.

Sadly, Blizzard still has not announced a release date for the WOTLK expansion yet, so it’s going to be a while before gamers – at least, those not in the beta – find out exactly what that loot is.

My guess: a black and blue hat that gives a +5 boost to one’s e-peen.
