Only in our current apathetic times would a cross-country peace march have only three members. Wes student Ashley Casale '10 organized the "March for Peace," which began in San Franciso on May 21st and is set to arrive in Washington D.C. on September 11th. Even after a Chicago Tribune article a few weeks ago highlighted the marchers (Casale and recent high school grad Michael Israel) and got them some attention, only one other person officially joined the march - Northern Illinois University student Tom Garrett. All I can say is I applaud their efforts and it saddens me that there are not more students and adults marching across the country. 

However, I suppose I have no right to criticize, considering I am sitting at my computer working on a blog instead of marching for peace.
