Deitch Projects, a major gallery space and arts promoter in NYC, is sponsoring its 4th Annual Art Parade on September 6th. The parade procession begins at 4 pm in Soho. Matti Valades '08 and I applied to do a float for the parade this year and our crew of current students and alums have been working over the last month to create a wondrous work of wonder worthy of this year's Art Parade. We'll make sure to do an update post in the future to show off our stuff. Look out for the parade if you're in NYC!

ART PARADE
September 06, 2008
Along West Broadway
Deitch Projects, Creative Time and Paper Magazine are pleased to announce the fourth annual Art Parade. The parade will take place on Saturday September 6, at 4PM. The route will begin on Houston and follow West Broadway, ending on Grand Street. Following the success of the past three Art Parades, artists, performers and designers are again being invited to create floats, placards, portable sculptures, kites, performances and street spectacles.
THE ART PARADE is co-produced by Creative Time, New York's premiere presenter of art in the public realm and Paper Magazine, the definitive guide to downtown style and culture.
