As Finals Approach, Wesleyan Students Find Internet Puppy Therapy

Since its posting on Wesleyan's student blog, Wesleying, students have been collectively obsessed with ustream.tv's number one ranking video: a puppy cam. The video is a live stream of six Shiba Inus puppies.

This may be the next cute crave on campus after LOLCats soared to the tops of everyone’s computer screens last year. Students around campus have been tuning into the puppies at all hours of the day.

On Wesleying, students celebrate the virtual treat in the post’s comments.

“Why are puppies the cutest things in the universe?”

“If only puppies could write papers. They would take over the world.”

The puppy cam offers students the perfect relief from the stress of the Wesleyan education. Watch the puppies as they cuddle, yelp, and scratch one another in their play pen.

So far, the camera has logged up to 66,000 combined viewing hours. If only the puppies knew! In the mean time, post your favorite procrastination destinations in the comments!
