Exposure is one of Wesleyan's newest, most ambitious publications to date. The first issue of the magazine debuted just as school was getting out last semester, but it was immediately popular and well-received by Wesleyan. Walking around campus In the last days before summer, I saw other students clutching their copies who were visibly captivated by the magazine's excellent selection of student photography, its luscious prints, and well-written articles. The magazine was surprisingly diverse in its offerings of a wide variety of photographic styles and techniques, musings on the nature and cultural ramifications of the photograph, and its inclusion of single shots and photo essays alike.

In their Editor's Note, the magazine's staff describes its goals, "When we first conceived of Exposure, we wanted to promote communication and cohesion within Wesleyan's photographic community. We felt that there were a significant number of photographers in the Wesleyan community who were doing interesting work, yet this work lacked an appropriate forum for presentation. We hope that this magazine will become a Wesleyan fixture, providing photographers in the future with a permanent space for their work and ideas."

The editors end the note with a single, stirring remark: "We hope you engage with these images."

Exposure's editors last semester were:

Sophie Finkelstein, Sam Jones, Josh Koenig, Jake Nussbaum, Brooke Olaussen, Danica Pantic, and Jason Reif
